On 22 May 2023, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and Ms. Morakot Sriswasdi, Ambassador of Thailand to Lao PDR, visited the Learning Center for the Development of Sustainable Agriculture project based on the application of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) at Khammouane Technical – Vocational College to survey and discussed the possibilities of organizing some activities to enhance knowledge on aquaculture, and agricultural product processing for administrators and teachers of the college. Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanjana Payooha, Vice Dean for Research and International Affairs, Department of Fisheries, Ubon Ratchathani University, also joined the visit with relevant officers from TICA and the Royal Thai Embassy, Vientiane.

On this occasion, Mrs. Ureerat also had a discussion with Mr. Viengsavanh Phatthavong, Director of the Khammouane Technical - Vocational College, and teachers of the college on the college’ activities and how to enhance knowledge on fish and prawn farming and agricultural product processing such as mangoes, limes, and jackfruits grown in the learning center for sustainability in the implementation of the Learning Center for the Development of Sustainable Agriculture project based on the application of SEP at the college.
