On 15 May 2023, at 18:00 hrs, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), attended the Reception in Honour of the Participants
of the 79th Session of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) at Vithes Samosorn, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General, and Ms. Chidchanok Malayawong, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division, also attended at the Reception.

On this occasion, TICA organized an exhibition at the hallway of Vithes Samosorn to showcase activities and projects related to development cooperation in various regions along with development projects based on the applications of Thailand’s home-grown approach, the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP). TICA also invited the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities to showcase the Vocational Development Centre for the Disabilities’ products and Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited to showcase the “Inthanin Thep Sadet Drip Coffee”, the product originated from a project that is a continuation of the collaboration between Thailand and Japan through TICA and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which provides opportunities for the private sector to engage in sustainable development through the concept of Public-Private Partnership for People (PPPP).
In attendance was Ms. Gloyta Nathalang, Executive Vice President of Corporate Branding, Communication, and Sustainability Activation of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Ltd.
