On 18 February 2019, Mr. Banchong Amornchewin, Deputy Director-General, Acting Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) attended the opening ceremony of the 21^st Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health arranged for Health Personnel from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn during 17 February – 1 April 2019 with 39 participants from various provinces in Lao PDR. The event was presided over by Prof. (Emeritus) Kraisid Tontisirin, PH.D., an advisor to the Royal initiative projects together with Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D. Acting President of Mahidol University, Mr. Oukham Sengkeomixay, Chargé d'affaires, the Embassy of the Lao PDR to the Kingdom of Thailand at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.
