On 2 May 2019, the Tongan Delegation led by HRH Prince Ata visited the Royal-initiated Demonstration Farm Project at Ang Thong Province. The delegation was welcomed and briefed on the background of the project by Thanphuying Poranee Mahanon, Deputy Private Secretary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit with the presence of the representatives from the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board.

The delegation was, then, led to see activities at the Demonstration Farm namely; insect, pests control, Soil development technique, Royal compose, livestock, growing and cooking mushroom and occupational skills (ceramic ware, Royal clothes weaving, handycraft) The delegation also learnt about farm management model whereby the farm has been developed as demonstration centre for good agricalture practice (GAP)and good manufacturing practice (GMP) at household level. The centre has provided the specific occupatuonal training and employed local communities to work at the centre. The centre is also served as the food bank for communities at affordable price. Now, the centre becomes one of the agricutural tourist destinations in Ang Thong province.
