On 26 - 27 October 2026, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), attended the 10th International Meeting on Triangular Cooperation under the theme “Shaping the Next Decade of Triangular Co-operation: From Evidence to Impact” in Lisbon, Portugal. The meeting was attended by over 300 participants, including high-level representatives from development cooperation agencies of more than 50 traditional and new donor countries, as well as representatives from international organizations and the private sector.

The meeting was organized by Camões – Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, I.P., Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal and the OECD Development Cooperation Directorate (DCD) aiming to provide recommendations on the future direction of trilateral cooperation and the development of assessing tools which help promote the participation and support from traditional donor countries.

On this occasion, the Director-General was invited as a speaker on the topic of “Towards the Next Era of Triangular Cooperation in a Fragmented Global Order” and held bilateral discussions with Mr. Sachin Kumar Sharma, Director-General of the Research and Information System for Developing Countries of India, regarding ways to expand the cooperation between the two agencies.

In addition, the Director-General also had a discussion with Mr. Rolf Schwarz, Head of the Global Engagement Unit of the OECD DCD, regarding the development of the reporting system. Both sides agreed to jointly develop a three-year action plan.

Mr. Rolf Schwarz also congratulated the Director-General on the success of the Asia-DAC Dialogue on Development, which TICA co-hosted with the OECD DCD, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) in Bangkok on 15-16 October 2026.
