On 21 December 2015, Ms. Sayan Kongkoey, Director of Thai Cooperation Branch I, with experts from Chiang Mai University and Srinakharinwirot University, and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon and TICA attended a meeting with Dr. Tint Tin, Acting Rector and other representatives from Mandalay University of Foreign Languages (MUFL), Mandalay, Republic of the Union of Myanmar, to discuss preparations for the Project to Develop the Thai Language Department at  MUFL.
