The Thai delegation monitored the Botanical Cooperation Projects in the Republic of Seychelles and the Republic of Kenya

During 15 – 22 February 2016, Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Director – General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) led the Thai delegation comprising of            Dr. Suyanee Vessabutr, Director – General of the Botanical Garden Organization and            Mrs. Jitkasem Tantasiri, Director of Thai Cooperation Branch II to monitor the Botanical Cooperation Projects as well as have a discussion with related agencies in the Republic of Seychelles and the Republic of Kenya.
 
On this occasion, the Thai delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Didier Dogley, Minister of Environment, Energy & Climate Change of Seychelles, H.E. Ambassador Maurice Loustau – Lalanne, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Seychelles, to discuss on Botanical and Environmental Cooperation. In addition, the Thai delegation had a meeting with Mr. Raymond Brioche, Chief Executive of National Botanical Gardens Foundation (NBGF) to review the implementation plan of the Botanical Cooperation Project.
 
Furthermore, the Thai delegation along with H.E. Mr. Prasittiporn Wetprasit, Ambassador of Thailand to Kenya had a meeting with representatives from the Nairobi National Museum and followed up the Orchid House Project in the museum before having a discussion at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kenya on bilateral relations.
