During 21-23 November 2016, Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Director – General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) of Ministry of the Foreign Affairs was accompanied by Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Director of Countries Partnership Branch and concerned TICA officials visited the Republic of Korea to discuss on Partnership Cooperation for Development.
During the trip, Deputy Director – General and TICA delegation had a meeting with Mr. Lee Kyoo-ho, Director of Development Policy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the Republic of Korea, on policy and strategies of Korean Official Development Assistance (ODA). TICA Delegation also paid a courtesy call to Mr. Kwon Tae Myon, Vice President of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the KOICA staff to discuss on Partnership for Development between TICA & KOICA. Then TICA Delegation hold a discussion with Professor Dr. Jung Hwan Seung, Dean of the College of Oriental Languages, and Dr. Park, Kyung-Eun, Head of Department of Thai of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Moreover, they had a study visit on volunteer service, management, and training at the World Friends Education Center for Volunteers in Gangwon-do province.
