          Thailand international Cooperation Agency, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Chilean International Cooperation Agency (AGCI) and the Embassy of the Republic of Chile in Bangkok organized the "Workshop on Designated Non-Financial Business or Profession (DNFBP) Regulation and Supervision" for ASEAN member states during 24 – 26 January 2018 at Century Park Hotel, Bangkok.

          This workshop is the first prime moving under trilateral cooperation between Thailand - Chile - ASEAN. The participants are appropriately 40 senior professional level of financial intelligence units from ASEAN member states as well as experts from Chile's Financial Analysis (UAF), Anti - Money Laundering Office and anti-money laundering of Thailand, and Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG).

          This bilateral training course is in direct respond to the shared interest of Thailand and Chile in committing themselves to the support and assistance of developing nations within the Southeast Asia community. It will be a valuable contribution to the improvement of existing regulations and regimes which aim to tackle illicit practices that finance terrorism. Situation that has taken in recent years a more trans-border nature, and thus contributing to the economic development of the region and its partners.
