      On 17 July 2018, Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), met with Dasho Dr. Ugen Dophu, Bhutan’s Health Secretary and Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, President of National Referral Hospital to discuss Thailand’s proposal to support eye, ear, nose and throat (EENT) medical service to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Bhutan in November 2019. Bhutanese side expressed the readiness to cooperate with Thailand in the EENT Care Center Project which includes the development of the existing Eye Center, establishing an ear, nose, throat (ENT Center), medical staffs capacity building and joint medical service team.
