On 1 November 2024, Mrs. Pimwadee Sovaratanapong, Acting Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) attended the Certificate Awarding Ceremony for the Training of the Construction Trainers Course to Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training’s 20 Cambodian trainers , together with Mr. Nakorn Silpa-archa, Board Chairman of Thailand Professional Qualification Institute, Ms. Jullada Meejul, Director General of Thailand Professional Qualification Institute, Ms. Geraldine Ansart, Chief of Mission, International Organization for Migration Thailand, Ms.Siriwan Romchatthong, Secretary General of the Employers' Confederation of Thailand, and Mr. Teerayut Punmeechaow, Technical Service Strategy Director, Concrete Products and Aggregate Co., Ltd. (CPAC), and also gave congratulatory remarks.

This activity’s objective is to develop the capabilities of trainers in the field of construction.This activity is under the Project on Poverty Reduction through Safe Migration, Skills Development and Enhanced Job Placement in Cambodia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Myanmar and Thailand (PROMISE) Phase II (2021 - 2025), which is a joint collaboration between Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Thailand,with the Professional Qualifications Institute as the implementing agency.
