On 1 August 2024, Ambassadors and Permanent Representatives of the Small Island Developing States (SIDS) to the United Nations in New York pay a study visit to the Royal Sea Farming And Aquaculture Demonstration Project Under The Initiatives Of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother to learn about aquaculture and sea salt farming process and products that can enhance farmer’s income.

Then they visit the Royal-initiated Laem Phak Bia Environmental Research and Development Project to learn about garbage composting and wastewater treatment with 4 natural processes that are oxidation ponds technology, grass filtration system, constructed wetland and mangrove forest filtration system. The delegates showed their appreciation and said that the activities in both projects can apply to their countries to increase people income and conserve their environment.
