On 8 September 2025, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), delivered a virtual presentation at the hybrid seminar, "Essence of Thailand: Discovering Unseen & Memorable Charms", under the topic, "International Development Cooperation with the Middle East and the Republic of Iraq".

Organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman, the seminar was hosted at Cihan University in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, to enhance understanding of Thailand.

Mrs. Arunee outlined TICA’s development cooperation efforts, particularly with the Middle East and Iraq. The session drew strong interest from senior Iraqi officials, academics, and university students.
