On 16 June 2026, Ms. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), chaired a meeting with Thai government agencies to formulate the 3rd Thailand–Lao PDR Three-Year Development Cooperation Programme (2026–2028). The meeting was convened following the receipt of project proposals from the Lao side, as agreed during the 26th Thailand–Lao Technical Cooperation Meeting. The meeting was held at Centara Hotel, Chaeng Watthana.

During the meeting, participants considered the proposed projects, and the relevant agencies expressed their readiness to serve as implementing agencies for cooperation activities in various sectors. TICA will subsequently submit the proposed programme to the Lao side for endorsement and further implementation.
