On 27 August 2024 Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), met with Mr. Francisco Bencosme Senior Policy Advisor, United States Agency for International Development (USAID) at TICA.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on development policies in Southeast Asia and ways to enhance trilateral cooperation in shared areas of interest, such as energy, environment, and transnational crime. Both sides also discussed the importance of promoting the engagement of the private sector and civil society in development assistance and cooperation.
