On 5 August 2022, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), met with Mr. Yazid Bensaïd, Agence Française de Développement (AFD) Thailand Country Director, during the farewell luncheon hosted by AFD on the occasion of Mr. Bensaïd’s completion of his tenure in Thailand. Mr. Remi Lambert, Premier Counselor, French Embassy in Bangkok and Ms. Suwida Kingmuangkow, AFD Senior Investment Officer were also present.

Both sides discussed the progress and way forward to strengthen development and technical cooperation between TICA and the AFD at both bilateral and trilateral levels, as well as to promote partnerships for development between Thailand and France through cooperation with AFD, both in Thailand and the region.
