On 30 August 2022 at Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of TICA, received an official invitation from Ambassadors and representatives from Embassies of the Member States of Pacific Alliance (PA)—namely; H.E. Mr. Bernardo Cordova Tello, Ambassador of Mexico to Thailand, H.E. Mrs. Ana Maria Prieto Abad, Ambassador of Colombia to Thailand, H.E. Ms. Cecilia Zunilda Galarreta Bazán, Ambassador of Peru to Thailand, and Mr. Fernando Berguño, Counsellor of the Embassy of Chile in Thailand—to attend the virtual meeting of “IV Cooperation Forum of the Pacific Alliance” on 31 August 2022. In addition, Mr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Deputy Director-General of TICA, and Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division, were also present at the meeting.

On this occasion, Ambassadors and representatives from Embassies of the Member States of PA also presented 9 Project Sheets, approved by PA for 2022, for TICA’s consideration on its participation. The Director-General of TICA noted the potential for collaboration on the presented projects, particularly on tourism and agriculture (soil management and fertilizers), in which Thailand has expertise and bilateral cooperation with Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Chile.
