On 21 April 2022, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency welcomed Dr. Steven G. Olive, USAID/RDMA’s Mission Director along with Mr. Preston Sharp, Program Office Director and officials from USAID/RDMA. Mr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Deputy Director-General was also present. Both sides discussed the progress regarding the trilateral cooperation workplan under the TICA - USAID Strategic Partnership for Development Cooperation in Asia, and way forward to further strengthen bilateral and trilateral cooperation between Thailand and the United States in various development aspects such as human resources development, environment, public health, as well as BCG etc. Furthermore, both sides also exchanged views and information regarding regional development and collaboration in ASEAN and the Mekong Sub-region.
