General Kampanat Ruddit, Privy Councillor and Chairman of the Royal Project Foundation Executive Board presided over the opening ceremony of the International Workshop on “the Sustainable Highland Arabica Coffee Industry Development”. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), also gave welcome adress through pre-recorded video for the opening session.

This worshop was oganized by the Royal Project Foundationin cllaboration with the Highland Research and Development Institute and TICA from 18 – 22 December 2023 at Chanaka Dhibesra Damri the Royal Project Agriculture Research and Development Center, Chiang Mai Province.

The objectives of the workshop are to share knowledge and exchange experiences in holistic development of Highland Arabica Coffee Industry from platation to marketing. There were 27 participants from government, academics and private sectors from 7 countires: Myanmar, Cambodia, Bhutan, Indonesia, Timor-Leste and Lao PDR.
