Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), as the head of the Thai delegation, participated in the Development Cooperation Forum (DCF) 2025, under the theme “Transforming International Development Cooperation: From Global Dialogue to Action.” The forum was organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) during 12-13 March 2025, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, United States of America. The objective of the meeting was to seek practical approaches to enhance the quality, efficiency, and concrete outcomes of international development cooperation. Over 200 high-level representatives and officials from United Nations Member States, governmental agencies, private sector, civil society, and youth participated in this forum.

On this occasion, the Director-General of TICA delivered a statement during the Country Statement session of Panel 1 under the theme “Making Development Cooperation Work for Today’s World” which highlighted four key points (1) Thailand is committed to advancing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by integrating its principles into national policies. (2) Thailand promotes development cooperation through TICA, particularly via South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) (3) Thailand supports the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices with various development partners, especially the United Nations, and (4) Thailand remains committed to expanding and strengthening development cooperation with partners from diverse regions worldwide, including both traditional and emerging donors.
