On January 4, 2024, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) witnessed the handover of the annual contribution in the amount of 15,000,000 baht from the Royal Thai Government represented by Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of TICA to Thailand-United States Educational Foundation (TUSEF) represented by Mrs. Siriporn Tantasetti, TUSEF’s Senior Program Officer, at the Exhibition Hall, TICA.  

TUSEF and its scholarship program, also known as Fulbright scholarship, is a partnership collaboration between the Royal Thai Government and the Government of the United States,  The Foundation was established to enhance mutual understanding between Thailand and the United States through educational exchange program and promoting cultural understanding between the two countries. The Government of Thailand has supported TUSEF and its scholarship program for more than 60 years.

TUSEF annually supports approximately 40 Fulbright scholarships for Thai grantees for graduate study and conduct research in the United States and approximately 50 scholarships for American grantees to teach or conduct research in Thailand.
