On 20 November 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed and held discussions with Mr. Phiset Sa-ardyen, Executive Director of the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ). In attendance was Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-Generaland related officer.

In this occasion, TIJ Executive Director introduced TIJ’s mandate and its role in promoting the enhancement of laws and justice processes in line with international standards. Both sides also exchanged information and experiences on justice-related cooperation, including issues under the “Bangkok Rules,” such as the treatment of women prisoners and non-custodial measures for female offenders, as well as human resource development in the criminal justice system and relevant international cooperation.
