On 27 September 2024, Ms. Patchara Kosinanont, Director of the Human Resources Development Cooperation Division, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), attended the closing ceremony and certificate ceremony of the Third Country Training Programme (TCTP) on “Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructors Training Course Regional Training for Pre-Hospital Emergency Care in CLMV” between 16 – 27 September 2024 at the National Institute for Emergency Medicine (NIEM). On this occasion, Mr. SUZUKI Kazuya, Chief Representative, JICA Thailand Office and Mr. Paisan Khonjumpa, Assistant Secretary-General of NIEM also presented and delivered the closing remarks.

This training course was organized by the National Institute for Emergency Medicine (NIEM) in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) between It was successfully attended by 22 participants from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam. During the closing ceremony, participants also presented an appreciation speech to the organizer.

On this occasion, Director of the Human Resources Development Cooperation addressed the thankfullness to JICA and NIEM and congratulated participants for the successful completion of their training. She also highlighted that the chain of robust networking and cooperation arose during and after the training would expand the Emergency Medical Services (EMT) cooperation among Thailand-Japan and CLMV countries in the future.
