On 25th June 2024, Ms. Chidchanok Malayawong, Director, Development Promotion and Coordination Division along with officials from International Development Cooperation Planning and Evaluation Unit and the Human Resources Development Cooperation Division attended the 14th Civil Service Exchange Programme (CSEP) meeting , on a group-by-group basis (Breakout Session) under 3 main pillars; (1) Partnership for Sustainability, (2) Partnership for Economic Growth and Social Development, and (3) Partnership for Human Empowerment and Public Service Development at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.  Thailand International Cooperation Agency is designated under Pillar 3, together with other relevant Thai agencies such as the Office of the Civil Service Commission; Ministry of Education; Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation; Ministry of Justice; Ministry of Labor; Ministry of Transport; Ministry of Social Development and Human Security; and Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs.

At this session Director Chidchanok discussed further with Mrs. Jolene Tan, Director-General, Technical Cooperation Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore to (1) summarize the results of activities under the work plan agreed at the 13th CSEP meeting as well as the proposed activities for future work plan as the outcomes of the 14th CSEP   meeting and (2) finalize content and wording of the draft of Joint Summary Record which was updated by both sides on 24th June 2024.  In addition, TICA’s and TCD’s representatives also joined in the information sharing session exchanging views among Thai and Singaporean delegates from the relevant agencies regarding the new normal of working, challenge and opportunity, during the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
