On August 21 – 22, 2024, Ms. Patchara Kosinanont, Director of the Human Resources Development Cooperation Division of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), along with other TICA officials, attended the 2nd Symposium for the Distinguished Lectureship Awards on International Cutting-Edge Organic Chemistry in Asia, organized by the Chulabhorn Research Institute and the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute. The Symposium was held at the Chulabhorn Research Institute Conference Center.

The Symposium is one of the activities sponsored by TICA under the Royal Initiative Project for international academic cooperation and exchange. Its objectives are to support quality and continuous research, development, education, and application of organic chemistry in Asia. The event aims to showcase academic research, foster cooperation, and facilitate knowledge exchange between universities in Thailand and across Asia, ultimately benefiting the region's society and economy.

The conference featured 12 organic chemistry researchers who received the Asian Core Program Lectureship Awards. These distinguished speakers from the Republic of Korea, the People’s Republic of China, and Japan presented their groundbreaking work in organic chemistry. The audience comprised over 200 attendees, including lecturers, researchers, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as representatives from government and private sectors. This diverse group engaged in lecture sessions, idea exchanges, and knowledge-sharing sessions, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the Symposium.
