On 20 June 2024, Ms. Patchara Kosinanont, Director of Human Resources Development Cooperation Division of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and Mr. Ryoichi KAWABE, Senior Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Thailand Office, jointly presided over the Handover of Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCVs) Ceremony.

At the ceremony, the six new JOCVs were handed over to the Thai partners under the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports (MOTS).  They will serve in the fields of Japanese Language Education, Caring for the Elderly, and Development of Sports (Baseball), for two years at Hang Dong Ratrat Upatham School, Thammasat Khlongluang Wittayakom School, Siyanuson School,Suphanburi Sports School, Nonthaburi Provincial Public Health Office, and Regional Health Promotion Centre 7, Khonkaen.
