On 19 December 2022, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) met with Mr. Jean-Pierre Marcelli, Director of Agence Française de Développement (AFD), Thailand, on occasion of Mr Marcelli's courtesy call after assuming his post in Thailand .

Both sides discussed way forward to promote development and technical cooperation between TICA and the AFD through bilateral and trilateral frameworks as well as regional collaboration particularly in South East Asia and Mekong Sub-Region,

Both sides also explored possible cooperation with Expertise France, a French international technical cooperation agency under the AFD Group.
