On 13 May 2025, Lieutenant Sorawud Preededilok, Minister attached to Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) hosted a reception for Senior officials at the level of Permanent Secretaries or heads of development cooperation agencies—or their representatives—from 15 African countries who attended the Thailand Development Forum for Africa at Amari Bangkok, comprised of Burundi, Côte d'Ivoire,Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Somalia and Uganda.

On this occasion, Thailand International Cooperation Agency together with the Department of South Asia, Middle East and Africa invited representatives from public, private and academic sectors to attend the reception to mingle with the delegates from Africa in order to develop future cooperation.
