Ministry of Foreign Affairs joined hands with Thailand's private sector in advancing towards sustainability during the TSX Thailand Sustainability Expo 2020, held at Samyan Mitrtown from 1 - 4 October 2020, where the Ministry presented the progress and accomplishments in fostering sustainability through the SEP for SDGs Partnership.

On this occasion, Mr. Natthawat Krisnamara, Director-General of the International Organizations Department, also delivered his remarks on "Thailand's progress in advancing towards the SDGs," highlighting Thailand's achievements in advancing towards the fulfilment of SDGs, including the dispatch of Thai volunteers abroad through the Friends from Thailand (FFT) Volunteer Programme. The volunteer programme strengthened the SEP for SDGs Partnership, especially on people-to-people and local levels. Accompanying the remarks was the exhibition by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency or TICA, where Thailand’s accomplishment and outstanding activities were showcased. These included, among others, the activities conducted by TICA and its partners, both international and domestic, as well as the success of the FFT Volunteer Programme. The remarks and the exhibition offered the public, especially the youth, to acknowledge, appreciate and see the importance of the advancement of partnerships for sustainability.

On this occasion, Ms. Busaya Mathelin, former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Director-General of TICA also participated in the opening ceremony of the TSX Thailand Sustainabiity Expo 2020, symbolizing the multi-sectoral synergy towards sustainability.
