On 18 January 2022, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency, together with Director of Human Resource Development Cooperation Division, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division and Secretary to the Department of Thailand International Cooperation Agency, visited the Office of the Ombudsman and was welcomed by H.E. Mr. Songsak Saicheua, Chief Ombudsman of Thailand and M.L. Puntarik Smiti, Advisor to the Ombudsman. 

Both sides exchanged views and discussed the possibility of the collaboration between TICA and the Office of the Ombudsman in international technical cooperation particularly in the area of good governance and promotion of good administration through bilateral, trilateral and regional cooperation frameworks. On this occasion, the Ombudsman sought the support of TICA in sharing its expertise in conducting international training courses and regional seminars with the aim to enhance its visibility in international forums and strengthen its International network. Both sides also shared their experience on the implementation of SDGs.
