On 26 March 2024, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Deputy Director-General, Acting Director-General Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) gave an opening remarks through Pre-recorded video for an online training course on Green Small and Medium Enterprise: Promotion of Practices and Networks for Green, Sustainable and Innovative MSMEs together with H.E. Ms. Cecilia Galarreta, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to Thailand, Mr. Edyardi Sak y Rosas Freyre, Executive Director, Peruvian Agency for International Cooperation (APCI), Mr. Suphakit Chareonkul, Executive Director, the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD), and Dr. Alberto Maurer, Executive Director, Production Technology Institute (ITP)

The online training course on Green Small and Medium Enterprise: Promotion of Practices and Networks for Green, Sustainable and Innovative MSMEs is an activity implemented under the 3-year Development Cooperation Program between Thailand and Peru. This online training course has been organized under the cooperation between TICA and the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD) between 26 March and 5 June 2024

The objective of this training program aims to strengthen the capacity of participants working at the Production Technology Institute (ITP), whose mission is to promote Peru’s trade and MSME development. This course will provide practical frameworks, good practices, and Thailand’s experience in promoting green, sustainable, and innovative MSMEs through a combination of lectures, interactive workshops, and practical exercises. Furthermore, this workshop will serve as a bridge to connect trade practitioners and promoters from Thailand and Peru to meet, interact and expand the networks for future cooperation.
