On 7 April 2024, Miss Patchara Kosinanont, Director of Human Resources Development Cooperation Division of TICA, along with relevant officials, attended the 7th Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) for promoting and showcasing TICA human resource development programme. Specifically, TICA scholarships and training courses. These programmes, including the Annual International Training Course (AITC) and the Thailand International Postgraduate Programme (TIPP), which received positive responses from Myanmar people, particularly in fields of Public Health, Science and Technology, and Environment.

The Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) is an initiative jointly established by the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon and the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT). Since 2018, this event has been held annually, its objective is to promote the study programmes offered by Thai universities to Myanmar students who are interested to study in Thailand. The current event featured participants from over 31 leading Thai educational institutions, including TICA partner universities and attracted more than 3,230 Myanmar attendees. This event highlights the role of TICA as a focal point for international development cooperation, particularly in education and human resource development, which are vital for fostering sustainable development in the region.
