On 15 June 2025, Mrs. Chachsaran Lertkiattiwong, Director of the International Development Cooperation Division, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of foreign affairs delivered the opening remarks and Dr. Thanikun Chantra Dean of school of social innovation, Mae Fah Luang University delivered the welcome remarks for the training course on “Train the Trainers: Enhancing Skills and Capabilities for Entrepreneurs Towards Creative Economic Empowerment and Sustainable Growth”, in accordance with ACMECS regional framework through an online platform organized on 15 – 20 June 2025 in Chiangrai. On the occasion of this training, Dr. Thanikun Chantra, Dean of school of social innovation, Mae Fah Luang University delivered the welcome remarks for the training program

The afore-mentioned training course is part of the 3-year ACMECS master plan which TICA was assigned to be main implementing agency of its Goal 3 (Smart and Sustainable ACMECS), focuses on the role of women in achieving sustainable development. The participants had a chance to visit women-led communities and exchange knowledge with local women entrepreneurs as well as develop action plans to magnify a sustainable outcome through a Train the Trainer model. There were 16 participants from 3 countires joining the training, compriesd of 6 people from Cambodia, 5 people from Myanmar, and 5 people from Lao PDR.
