On 8 April 2024, Miss Patchara Kosinanont, Director of Human Resources Development Cooperation Division together with TICA officials hosted the TICA Alumni Networking in Myanmar 2024 at the Sedona Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar to foster connections and establish networks between Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, Thai Universities and graduated scholarship awardees in Myanmar. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, presided over the event and delivered opening remarks to welcoming participants, including TICA Alumni in Myanmar and representatives from TICA partner universities.

During the event, participants had an opportunity to enjoy a hands-on experience in the traditional Thai art of essential oil making by creating their own items and taking them back home as unique and personalized souvenirs from the event. Moreover, TICA opened the session for the graduated alumni to share their experiences of studying and applying their knowledge to the workplace and comment on TICA scholarship programmes which will be valuable input for improving the management and administration of TICA works. In addition, the alumni hope that more scholarships will be supported for Myanmar people to strengthen the development of the country.
