On 28 January 2022, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division attended the 1st Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) on the Project for Enhancing the Human Resource Development Capacity of Customs Administration, hosted by the Thai Customs Department. The Representatives from JICA – Thailand Office also presented at the Meeting.

The Meeting discussed Plan of Operation and progress of the Project aiming at enhancing Thai Customs Department’ s sustainable human resource system and promoting Thailand as regional hub of human resource development for customs operations. Acitivites to be implemented include training needs analysis, training evaluation, conduting training of trainers, developing training materials as well as Standard Operational Precedures in conduction international training programme. Currently JICA has dispachted two long-term Experts to work at Thai Customs Department.
