On 24 October 2024, Mrs. Pimwadee Sovaratanapong, Acting Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and Ms. Youngsuk Jun, Country Director of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Thailand Office, jointly presided over the Korea Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (KOV) Handover Ceremony held at KOICA Thailand Office.

At the ceremony, six KOVs were handed over to the Thai partners. They will serve in the field of Korean Language Education and Healthcare for one year at Prince of Songkla University (Phuket Campus), Nakorn Ratchasima Rajabhat University, Uttaradit Rajabhat University, Surin Vocational College under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission and at under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Office of the Vocational Education Commission, and Ministry of Public Health.
