On 16 October 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand received 1,000,000 surgical masks from CP Group to hand over to the Myanmar Government, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government, to strengthen preparedness and response to COVID-19. Mr. Chutintorn Gongsakdi, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, chaired the ceremony and emphasised the importance of supporting each other through difficult times.
