During July 15 - 18, 2024, the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in collaboration with Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUIT) SURIN Campus, conducted activities under the Establishment of One Village One Product (OVOP) Regional Promoting Center Project. The activities included:

1. Following up the training outcomes for the six (6) group of product development as follows; (1) Food and Beverage, (2) Souvenir, (3) Textile, (4) Natural Oil, (5) Furniture, and (6) Home Stay and Ecotourism, which were organized between August 5 and 18, 2024 in Thailand by RMUIT Surin Campus.

2. Surveying the Kampong Cham Province area to gather information for planning, designing activities, and formulating project implementation guidelines to fit in with local context.

3. Observing the OVOP project implementation in Cambodia.

4. Discussing ways forward with the representatives of the National Committee for One Village One Product (OVOP) Movements of Cambodia.

The OVOP Project is under the supervision of the Office of the Prime Minister of Cambodia (Senior Minister as the chairman of the National Committee for One Village One Product (OVOP) Movements, to promote One Village One Product). In this occasion, the Deputy Secretary-General and Advisors of the Committee honored to join the delegation and the Deputy Governor of Kampong Cham Province also extended a warm welcome and facilitated the delegation as well.
