The training course, titled Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP): The Engine Towards Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), was jointly organized by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and the Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies, Thammasat University, for Colombo Plan member countries.

The training course, held from November 10-22, 2025. Seventeen awardees from seven countries participated: four from Myanmar, four from Sri Lanka, three from Pakistan, two from Bangladesh, two from Iran, one from Malaysia, and one from Vietnam.

This training course aimed to enable participants to understand the principles of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP), and to be able to adapt and apply it to the economic, social, and environmental development contexts of their countries. This will support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as foster technical cooperation and exchange of sustainable development experiences among Colombo Plan member countries.
