On 21 August 2023, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Deputy Director- General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) delivered an opening remarks, via a pre-recorded video for the training course on the Training Program for Quality Control and Traceability Implementation on Fish and Fishery products by laboratory use.
This training program is the one of activities under the Project on the Training Program for Quality Control and Traceability Implementation on Fish and Fishery products for Myanmar”, under the 3-year Development Cooperation Program between Thailand and Myanmar. It has been organized under the cooperation between TICA and Thai’s Department of Fisheries between 21 and 24 August 2023 at Samut Sakhon Fish Inspection and Research Center, Samut Sakhon.
The purposes of a program is to enhance the capacity of Myanmar officers who involve the quality control and traceability process and to strengthen the standards of Myanmar’s quality control and traceability system for its fish and fishery products, especially those produced for exports to other countries through 4 training topics namely (1) determination method of heavy metal (2) determination method of Nifursol (3) determination method of Pathogenic bacteria (4) determination method of Physical analysis.
