In this occasion, Myanmar diplomats thank Thai government for taking care of migrant workers from Myanmar. Besides, they asked about how Thai government took care of migrant workers during covid-19 pandemic.

Regarding this question, the hospital told that migrant workers have health benefits as same as Thai workers, as a result of Myanmar migrants are deducted 5% of their salaries to Social Security Fund every month or they buy health insurance for the Ministry of Public Health.

Furthermore, they also visit migrant health clinic to see how the hospital provides services to migrant patients and also watching a performance from Myanmar children who were born in Thailand and were taken care by the nursery of the hospital.

In the afternoon, new diplomats of Myanmar visited Khao Kling Temporary Prison, which has been established as a Learning Centre of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy by the Department of Corrections. The objective of the Learning Centre is for inmates to practice an honest profession, in order to earn a stable income for when they are released from prison.
The Learning Centre is over 960,000 square metres and has more than 30 learning bases. The stations include: building of mud houses, car cleaning services, food and beverage shops, raising various economic animals, such as deer, rabbits, sheep, goats, cattle, and buffaloes, and so on.
The diplomats of Myanmar were especially interested in the building of mud houses, as they have learnt how to make raw clay bricks and how to mix clay blocks. Moreover, they were intrigued by the agricultural station, due to the similar environmental aspects between Thailand and Myanmar. They were especially curious about how inmates earn their incomes and were enthusiastic to buy snacks and drinks made by them.
Myanmar diplomats have expressed their appreciation for the knowledge sharing by the Learning Centre through their teaching in various bases and they were touched by the main objective of the Learning Centre, that is to help inmates make their return to the society.
