On July 10, 2024, Mr. Piyabutr Cholvijarn, Vice-Chair and President of Kenan Foundation Asia, Mr. Pradap Pibulsonggram, former Ambassador and Kenan executive committee member, together with Kenan staffs, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) on the occasion of his assumption of duty. Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Directort-General of TICA, Ms. Chidchanok Malayawong, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division, Ms. Pin Sridurongkatum, Secretary of TICA, and TICA staffs were also present at the meeting room 2, TICA office.

On this occasion, the two sides discussed ways to further enhance cooperation at the bilateral and trilateral levels to advance social and economic development in the ASEAN  region, in particular in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Myanmar. Furthermore, the two sides agreed to vigorously explore cooperation in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and education, MSMEs, and green skills. To move forward the cooperation in these fields, the two sides agreed to closely work together to initiate and implement a pilot project in the near future.
