On 11 February 2019, Mrs. Sasitorn Wongweerachotkit, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation agency (TICA) presided over the opening ceremony of the international training course on Forest-based Eco-tourism Management at the Royal Forest Department office. The training course was conducted by TICA and The Royal Forest Department during 11 February – 11 March 2019, with 19 participants from 19 countries namely Argentina, Bhutan, Colombo, Egypt, Fiji, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mexico, Nicaragua, Niger, Palestine, Timor-Leste, Togo, Uruguay, Indonesia and Thailand. The event was also joined by Human Resources Development Bureau and the Royal Forest Department staff.
