On 22^nd September 2014, Ms. Suchada Thaibunthao, Director-General of TICA, delivered a welcome speech for the opening ceremony of the international training course on Sufficiency Economy in the Context of Agricultural Development, which organized by TICA in cooperation with Chaipattana Foundation for 11 participants from six ASEAN countries including Thailand held during 21 – 30 September 2014, chaired by Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of Chaipattana Foundation, at Tawana Bangkok Hotel.

 

          The participants attended this course come from Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Lao PDR, Cambodia, and Thailand. The course aimed to propagate concept and agricultural technology under the royal initiative by Chaipattana Foundation that this year mainly focused on ASEAN countries to tighten up relationship and strengthen of ASEAN group to sustainable development of the region in accordance with moving to ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
