On 1 June 2016, Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephitak, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), along with Mrs. Jitkasem Tantasiri and Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Director-General of TICA, attended the meeting on “SEP in Business: A G-77 Forum on the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, An Approach to implementing Sustainable Development Goals” which was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Thailand Sustainable Development Foundation (TSDF) at Siam Kempinski Hotel, Bangkok. 
 
On this occasion, H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand attended the meeting and delivered an opening remarks. The meeting was emphasised on an attempt to strengthen partnership at all level with all countries and stakeholders to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Thailand as the chairman and the member of the G-77, would like to share its experience and expertise on implementation of the sustainable development by applying the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy (SEP) to the members of the G-77. The meeting also encouraged the engagement of private sector and businesses which can play a critical role in implementation of SDGs, as well as, sharing some of the outstanding examples of the successful applications of the sustainable development based on SEP in both large and small private sectors in Thailand as the best practices. 
 
In addition, TICA participated in the World Café, the afternoon session of the meeting, by display the exhibition of its missions and activities related to SEP, which can benefit the partners and encourage the cooperation to achieve the SDGs.
