On 5 June 2017, Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Director-General, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), delivered a welcome speech at the opening ceremony of the Third Country Training Program (TCTP) entitled “Environmental Friendly Rice Production for CARD Countries: Cultural Practice, Technology and Management for Subsistence Rice Production” at Marauay Garden Hotel. This training course is co-organized by TICA, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Kasetsart University Kampaeng Saen Campus under Thailand-Japan Trilateral Cooperation. The program included (1) Study Visit for Policy Maker Level during 1 – 22 June 2017 and (2) Training of Trainers (ToT) course during 1 June - 10 August 2017 for a total of 26 participants from 8 Africa’s Francophone countries including Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali and Togo.
