On 7 March 2018, Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) attended a discussion with TICA post-graduate scholarship students in the inaugural TICA Meet & Greet along with Mrs. Sasitorn Wongweerachotkit, Director of Human Resources Development Bureau and
other TICA staff in Chiangmai.
This meeting was organized for scholarship students and executives from three universities in the northern region namely Chiangmai University, Maejo Univerisity and Mae Fah Luang University. The Meet & Greet aims to provide an opportunity for scholarship students to discuss challenges they have encountered during their study in Thailand and provide feedbacks and suggestions to TICA executives and staff. Moreover, this is a platform to strengthen relationship between the executives of TICA and the three universities as well as to strengthen TICA network among scholarship students.
On this occasion, most participants agreed that receiving the scholarship from TICA is a valuable experience that will benefit their respective countries in the future. In this regards, the scholarship students expressed their appreciation to TICA and the universities for the opportunity and supporting during their stay in Thailand.
