On 9 November 2021, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency, welcomed H.E. Mr. Moustapha Mahmoud Moustapha Elkouny, the Embassy of Egypt, along with Mr. Aboubakr Samy Elashrafy, Deputy Chief of Mission, at the Reception Room, Thailand International Cooperation Agency.

Both sides discussed the development cooperation between Thailand and Egypt.  The Egyptian ambassador emphasized the importance of development cooperation and agreed to expand such cooperation into trilateral cooperation in order to share knowledge and experience with African and ASEAN Countries especially in the fields of (1) agriculture (2) human resource development (3) medical and public health

On this occasion, the Director-Genera and the Egyptian Ambassador also exchanged experiences, information and opinions on the development of various fields, including the trilateral cooperation framework. Both sides will review the Draft Memorandum of Understanding between Thailand International Cooperation Agency and The Egyptian Agency for Partnership and Development for future cooperation.
