On 10 August 2026, Ms. Arunee Heim, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), held a teleconference with Ms. Carla Rodrigues, Head of Strategic Partnerships, and Ms. Cecilia Francisco, Coordinator, Camões - Instituto da Cooperação e da Lingua I.P., at TICA.

Both sides discussed ways to advance cooperation under MoU between TICA and Camôes regarding Triangular Co-operation in Third Countries, signed in October 2025. They agreed to jointly develop seafood processing projects by building on the success of Thailand - Mozambique Seafood Processing Incubator Project in Viankulos that established by the RoyalThai Embassy in Maputo, and expanding it to the community level to create job and income for youth. Both sides will jointly prepare a Concept Paper to be developed into a concrete trilateral project in Mozambique.
