On 8 May 2022, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency visited Palestine to discuss the project “TICA – JICA Triangular Cooperation for Palestine Phase II for the development of Tourism sector”. The delegation was received by Japan International Cooperation Agency -JICA) and Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities-MOTA of Palestine.

Both sides discussed the progress regarding the trilateral cooperation workplan under the project and way forward to further strengthen various aspects of the project.

Furthermore, the delegation met with private sector working in the tourism industry and visited key sites.
